WKAR Offers Special Thank You Gifts for "National Parks" Pledge Program

WKAR will offer fans of the Ken Burns series, The National Parks: America's Best Idea" the opportunity to select books and other items specially autographed by producer Ken Burns as thank you gifts during its on-air fundraising campaign.

The program will be aired Friday, November 27, at 8 p.m., with a repeat Sunday, November 29, at 8 a.m. A limited number of items are available and will be available only on a first-come, first-served basis at specific pledge levels.

The National Parks received great acclaim during its September premiere, featuring 12 hours focusing on the history, beauty and legacy of America's national parks. The program airing during the membership campaign is the concluding episode.
