"Living On Earth" Host Steve Curwood to Moderate Library Event

Global warming. Fuel shortages. Greenhouse effect. Recycling efforts. Climate changes. Topics that are in the news every day.

Hear what people on the forefront have to say about the future of our planet when the Capital Area District Library (CADL) sponsors a “Global Warming” panel discussion at the Lansing Center on Wednesday, March 19, at 7 p.m.

Steve Curwood, host of the popular public radio program Living on Earth (Sundays at 3 p.m. on WKAR/AM 870) will present and moderate the discussion focusing on CADL’s 2008 community reading project, Al Gore’s thought-provoking book An Inconvenient Truth.

For more information contact CADL at (517) 367-6300 or visit them at cadl.org.
