WKAR eNews: Wed 7/29/09
Here at WKAR we're gearing up for several events, including the Great Lakes Folk Festival next week. Bob Blackman's "Folk Tradition" program this coming Sunday will give you a sneak preview!

Meanwhile, we encourage you to think of the value that WKAR's children's programs bring to the community, both in teaching children literacy, science and math skills and in how it also fosters positive behaviors such as cooperation and sharing. WKAR is a safe place for kids -- and it's one that needs your support.

Please join us as we ask for support in prime time for our children's programs. Take memory lane or share a few minutes of TV-time with your child. And don't forget -- you can support it during the program or online at WKAR.org. Thanks.
