WKAR eNews: Wed 8/26/09
The week is filled with music and special events at WKAR. Both TV and Radio will feature a variety of music from classical to jazz to blues.

In addition, WKAR invites you to the first of two community previews of Ken Burns' new series, "The National Parks: America's Best Idea." The first is in Lansing next week; the second is a few weeks later in Jackson. Please come to one of these free events!

Finally, WKAR is a partner in the "One Book, One Community" program. You can win copies of the featured book, "The Soloist," by listening to WKAR. You may even win tickets to the reception featuring author Steve Lopez!
