MSU Professor Calls For Altered Policy Toward Muslim World
America’s biggest foreign policy challenge is its relationship with the Muslim world. That’s the view of MSU Professor Mohammed Ayoob. He’s the author of the new book, The Many Faces of Political Islam.

Ayoob analyzes the relationship between Islamic beliefs and the politics of various Muslim countries. He argues that unless the United States seriously alters its foreign policy toward the Muslim world, Islamic radicalism will continue to thrive.

Mark Bashore asked Ayoob to cite an example of genuinely democratic political activity in a Muslim country.
