The state has a hefty deficit -- no surprise there, but what to do about it? And, controversy on Michigan’s highest court. The guest is Justice Elizabeth Weaver of the Michigan State Supreme Court, here to discuss her disagreement with other court members.

Justice Elizabeth A. Weaver has served on Michigan’s highest court since 1995, including a two-year term as chief justice. She has thirty years of judicial experience at the probate and appeals court level and earned her law degree from Tulane Law School. Prior to entering the legal profession she was an elementary school teacher. She was inducted into the Michigan Women’s Hall of Fame in 2005.

With Charlie Cain, Rick Pluta and Peter Luke.
