The Ark’s end-of-year Celtic folk series returns to A2

For nearly two decades, The Ark, Ann Arbor’s folk music concert space, has celebrated Irish music with the post-Christmas Crossroads Ceili series. We speak with Mick Gavin, the fiddler and organizer of this two-night festival about the concerts.

This weekend, The Ark in Ann Arbor is celebrating Irish folk music with its traditional post-christmas Crossroads Ceili concerts, which have been going on for nearly two decades.

Current State’s Jamie Paisley talks with the man who started this concert series, Mick Gavin.  He's originally from County Clare. The fiddler recently turned 70 years of age.
