Country Club of Lansing fights foreclosure

Lansing's most historic private club may be struggling for survival.

According to a notice published in the Ingham Legal News, the Country Club of Lansing is in default of a $6.7 million loan.

National City Bank holds the 101-year old club's loan.

The club is scheduled to auctioned May 7 at the Ingham County Courthouse.

Country Club of Lansing officials did not return calls seeking comment.
