Michigan State Basketball Senior Night; Tom Izzo; Tum Tum Nairn, Jr.; Gavin Schilling; Ben Carter; Taya Reimer

As the sun sinks ahead of them, our heroes can ride off into the next chapter of their lives with their heads held high. On today's episode of "Current Sports with Al Martin," Al and engineer Ian Hawley discuss the Michigan State basketball squad's win over Illinois on Tuesday. With the victory, MSU clinched at least a share of the Big Ten Regular Season Championship. There was more than one reason to celebrate, however, as the Spartans said 'so long' to their senior class. Taya Reimer, a senior on the MSU Women's Basketball team, joins the show to reflect on her time at MSU and to share some of her memories of her teammates and her coach, Suzy Merchant. The Spartans women's basketball team will celebrate Senior Night tonight after a duel with Wisconsin. Not to worry, folks. Despite all this commotion in the MSU sporting world, "Current Sports" will be back tomorrow.
