Today's "Current Sports with Al Martin" begins by recapping last night's wild Game 2 of the World Series between the Houston Astros and LA Dodgers! In what became an instant classic, Al does his best to put in perspective a wild night that saw a Fall Classic record eight home runs! Al then transitions into Michigan State women's basketball by inviting head coach Suzy Merchant to the program! Merchant talks about her excitement of the upcoming season, after coming off a year in which her team won 21 games and made an NCAA tournament appearance. She also shares her thoughts on a few players who she believes will surprise Spartan basketball fans this season, and opens up about her health scare back on New Years Day.

On the back-end of the show, Al highlights the opening exhibition matchup for the MSU men's basketball team against Ferris State tonight. To close out the hour, Al talks with former MSU / NFL running back great Todd Duckett as he tells us all about the "Real Men Wear Pink" campaign, aimed at raising awareness about breast cancer in partnership with the American Cancer Society. Find out how you can get involved by visiting https://realmenwearpink.org.au/ !!! That, and more throughout the hour!
