Halloween; Detroit Lions; Jim Caldwell; Eric Hipple; Fighting Against Depression; Suicide Prevention; Trick Or Treat.

Boo! A Happy Halloween from all of us here at WKAR and "Current Sports with Al Martin." For today, a special witch's brew of the regular show has been stirred up, with Al providing a few boos from Detroit. The Lions fell below .500 with a 20-15 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers over the weekend, and the scare is real now for Detroit fans. Al scrolls through the game tape to pick out what was worrisome about the loss, which could haunt the team going forward. Speaking of haunt, engineer Isaac Constans and Al peddle spooky stories and premonitions throughout the hour in preparation for tonight's festivities. Hear about costumes, movies and more.

Then, Eric Hipple joins the show. The  former Detroit Lions quarterback has a lot to say about the current team and shares his insights, but more meaningful matters dominate the conversation today. Hipple, who battled depression and a son that committed suicide, shares important stories about mental health. Open and candid, Hipple explains what happened in his life and what can be done to prevent future tragedies.

Before going out for candy, Al and Isaac play this year's edition of a Current Sports favorite: "Trick or Treat?" Some of the biggest questions in Michigan sports receive the ultimate eye test, as Jim Harbaugh and Justin Verlander might be playing ghosts.
