Mark Dantonio Press Conference; Michigan State Football; Little Caesars Arena Ribbon Cutting; Kim Coates; Detroit Lions.

In football season, it's full steam ahead. "Current Sports with Al Martin" keeps the train pushing as coach Mark Dantonio held his second game preview press conference of the year as his Michigan State Spartans buck up against the Western Michigan Broncos. Al starts to look ahead to Saturday's match-up and gets the opinions of engineer Isaac Constans. Their back-and-forth is fueled by the just-breaking thoughts of Dantonio through his press conference, which bring up the topics of ball security, receiving phenom Darrell Stewart and the likelihood of another 2-0 start. With it being a big day in Detroit, the conversation shifts to the ribbon cutting at Little Caesars Arena. Al runs over the list of new features at the arena, and he and Isaac settle on the name "L-C-A" to dub the new home of the Red Wings and Pistons. For hockey fans, there's more coming. Kim Coates, acclaimed actor and star of Goon: Last of the Enforcers, chats with Al about the sequel to the hockey cult classic. Coates' voice might be recognizable from his prior appearances on Sons of Anarchy, and as a Red Wings fan, he discusses the big move, as well. Closing the show, Al and Isaac play the over-under on the Detroit Lions.
