Gregory Eaton of Lansing has a scrapbook full of Super Bowl memories.

A Lansing man will achieve a landmark football accomplishment on Sunday. Scott Pohl talks with Gregory Eaton about attending all 50 Super Bowl games.

The Super Bowl will be played on Sunday. Its beginnings 49 years ago were humble, though. That first game, pitting the NFL champion Green Bay Packers against the upstart American Football League champs, the Kansas City Chiefs, wasn’t even a sellout at the Los Angeles Coliseum.

Now, the Super Bowl is the biggest sporting event of the year.

Current State's Scott Pohl speaks with Gregory Eaton, a Lansing man who has attended every Super Bowl.

Scott Pohl is a general assignment news reporter and produces news features and interviews. He is also an alternate local host on NPR's "Morning Edition."
