The Flint Institute of the Arts welcomes a new exhibit "From Heart to Hand," which focuses on African-American contributions to the history of quiltmaking. We speak with FIA’s curator Tracee Glab, as well as a visiting quilter who’s had her work on display at the White House.

Current State’s Jamie Paisley went to Flint for a preview of the exhibit and also got to speak with one of the quilting artists, Yvonne Wells of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
