For more than 20 years, the MSU Children’s Choir has been a very bright spot on the area’s arts landscape. A part of the MSU Community Music School, the childrens’ choir Lansing area kids ages 10-16 a chance not only to perform but to enhance their musical education in the process.

In the recent past, it’s performed with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Marilyn Horne and Peter Nero.

The ensemble can even point to sharing in two grammy awards in 2006 with the DSO and Pulitzer-Prize winning composer William Bolcom.

The choir sings for Current State. We also talk with director Kyle Zeuch and a member of the choir, and Katie Sundeen.
