Heat Causes Schools To Early Dismiss on Monday

With temperatures on forecasted to be near record highs, several schools will dismiss early on  Monday.

BELLEVUE COMMUNITY SCHOOLS 

Students will be served lunch before dismissal.

Jr/Sr High will be released at 11:40AM

Elementary will be released at 11:45AM

IONIA PUBLIC SCHOOLS 

The schools will dismiss at the following times:

 

High School, Middle School, Rather 10:53 am

 

Douglas R. Welch High School 10:45 am

 

Boyce, Jefferson, Twin Rivers 11:53 am

 

Emerson 11:43 am

 

High School Kinderstart 11:33 am

Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) and Bulldogs Beginnings preschool are both cancelled for the entire day.

JACKSON CHRISTIAN SCHOOL 

Dismissal at 11:30

MARSHALL PUBLIC SCHOOLS 

Monday and Tuesday 

Grades K through 5 are released at 11:50 AM

Grades 6 through 12 are released at 10:55 AM

Opportunity High School students are released at 10:20 AM

The Shamrock Center remains open running a normal schedule.

 

ST. PAUL CATHOLIC OWOSSO 

All after school activities will be cancelled.  St. Paul Kid's Connection Childcare will be open in the morning before school only.  8th grade students will still attend Mass in Lansing and will return to school at 1:00 or 1:30.
