LISTEN: Lansing Area Leaders Update on Flooding

Lansing mayor Andy Schor, U.S. Rep. Mike Bishop and Lansing township supervisor Dion'trae Hayes talked Friday morning about the flooding caused by the Grand River. 

Some of the major points:

-All three toured areas affected by flooding in the city of Lansing and Lansing Township.

-"In Lansing Township, [the flooding] is severe and it is extensive," said Hayes. "Today I will be meeting with officials with  Ingham county as well as our building inspectors, our code enforcement officers and other necessary personnel to begin the conversations of damage assessments... I want to urge our residents to be patient with us."
