Detroit Police Most Wanted Fugitives
Three people were wounded in shootings before and after the fireworks show.

Police in Detroit are investigating two separate shootings that wounded three people before and after the city's annual fireworks show.

Chief James Craig told reporters Tuesday that two people initially held as persons of interest in the first shooting Monday night have been released.

A 47-year-old woman was shot in the hip shortly before 10 p.m. just north of the downtown riverfront during a confrontation between two groups of people. Craig said she was an innocent bystander. She was in stable condition Tuesday at a hospital.

About an hour later, a 17-year-old boy was shot in the abdomen and a 17-year-old girl was grazed while sitting in a car downtown. Their wounds were not considered life-threatening. No arrests have been made in that shooting.
