Competing in the first game are Lansing Lugnuts Announcer Jesse Goldberg-Strassler, Don Black from Power 96.5 FM, Kelly Rossman-McKinney of Truscott Rossman and educator and actor Gini Larson. They match up against Lauren Aitch from the Aitch Foundation, Deb Hart of WMMQ Radio & Michigan Talk Network, Big 0 Records recording artist Greg Nagy, and WILX-TV anchor David Andrews.

They go up against Rich Weingartner from MESSA, Robin Miner-Swartz of the Capital Region Community Foundation, Dawn Parker from the Lansing State Journal, and Dave Ellis of MSUANR Communications.
