Concerts, Grammys, performing all over the world...opera star Renee Fleming has done it all.

Tonight, the soprano will perform in East Lansing for the first time ever.

WKAR's Scott Pohl spoke with Renee Fleming about her latest album, singing for Queen Elizabeth II, and the program she has planned for MSU's Wharton Center for Performing Arts.

Her program for tonight includes Handel arias, all in English; three Strauss pieces; selections from Andre Previn's "A Streetcar Named Desire"; and some popular Italian arias. She'll be accompanied by pianist Richard Bado.

Fleming's album "Poemes" recently earned her a fourth Grammy award. She says winning Grammys never gets old.
