South Lansing activists hope funding leads to community center, development

Southwest Lansing was recently awarded a grant to put toward projects that would better the neighborhoods in the area. We speak with the people behind Rejuvenating South Lansing.

The Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP) has provided funding from the state of Michigan to be invested in neighborhood planning and improvement.

Southwest Lansing was awarded some of that money, and planning meetings and consultation have already taken place to determine next steps.
