The newest Ken Burns PBS documentary is entitled, simply, "Jackie Robinson." It’s an in-depth look at the life and times of the Brooklyn Dodgers star who was central to the integration of major league baseball in 1947. The program airs tonight and tomorrow night at 9:00 p.m. on WKAR-TV.
"Jackie Robinson" comes just in time for the start of the baseball season. Here in the Lansing-East Lansing area, the Lugnuts are getting underway, Spartan baseball is off to a solid start, and MSU spring football has fans wondering what might be ahead for 2016.
