A fourth candidate has filed to run for mayor in Lansing. The Lansing State Journal reports that Danny Trevino filed to run for mayor on Wednesday, the same day he registered to vote. He’s 20 years old.

Trevino joins state Representative Andy Schor, city council member Judi Browne Clarke and former city council member Harold Leeman Jr. in the mayoral race.

Scott Pohl is a general assignment news reporter and produces news features and interviews. He is also an alternate local host on NPR's "Morning Edition."
