Hornak placed the coaches on administrative leave last week.

Interim coaches Keith Allen and Nick Brown are now running the baseball teams in Holt.

A volunteer assistant coach who was not on the Florida trip, Brian Sweet, remains with the team. Junior varsity assistant coach Mark Rokita also did not travel to Florida and is in charge of the team.

UPDATE: Holt's baseball teams will continue to play under an interim coaching staff.

The varsity and junior varsity baseball coaches at Holt High School have been placed on administrative leave while an investigation is conducted into allegations involving a recent trip to Florida.

In an email to parents in the district, Holt superintendent David Hornak says assistant volunteer coaches are included in the action.

During the review, no further details are being released. It’s unclear if the action means Holt is canceling or forfeiting baseball games during the investigation.
