What is WKAR Radio Reading Service?
WKAR Radio Reading Service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week serving persons who have difficulty reading conventional printed material. WKAR’s Radio Reading Service service provides these people access to news and information they can use to live better independently. 

Subscribing to WKAR Radio Reading Service
The special radio receiver used to listen to Radio Reading Service programs is loaned free-of-charge to individuals who qualify for the service.

Volunteering
Reading aloud as a WKAR Radio Reading Service volunteer can be a gratifying experience, bringing a world of printed material to those who are visually impaired or otherwise unable to read print.
