MSU violinist performs Vivaldi at Cook Hall

MSU Violin Professor Dmitri Berlinsky performs a program of virtuoso violin works this Saturday at 8:00 p.m. at MSU’s Cook Recital Hall.


The East Lansing city council picked up two new members last week. Susan Woods and Ruth Beier were elected to four-year terms, and Kathleen Boyle will stay on the council after winning the right to serve the balance of the term to which she was appointed last year.

Neighbors in Action: Help Other People Eat (H.O.P.E.)

It’s Wednesday and time for our Neighbors in Action segment, where we feature people and organizations working to make our community a better place. With this Friday being the opening of the firearm deer hunting season in Michigan, it’s only appropriate that we feature Help Other People Eat, or HOPE, which distributes excess venison donated by hunters to those in need.
