Stretch of Warm Weather Puts Fruit Growers at Risk

Many of us are enjoying this unseasonably warm weather.  But for some farmers, it’s nerve-racking,  especially for fruit growers.  Fruit trees are starting to sprout two or more weeks ahead of time.  It’s only March, so cold weather is very likely to come back and kill off those early-blooming crops.

Senate to Vote on Stripping Eye Malady from Marijuana List

The state Senate could vote this week on the first major amendment to Michigan's medical marijuana law since it was adopted by voters in 2008.  The measure would strip the eye disease glaucoma from the list of conditions that would qualify a patient for a medical marijuana card.

Judge orders Flint EM to hold off on decisions
