The Hard Job of Recording Berkeley's Carillon Bells

NPR's Renee Montagne speaks with Jeff Davis, the bell player, or carillonist, of the UC Berkeley bell tower, as he sits before the instrument's keyboard with levers the size of broom handles. Carillons are notoriously difficult to record. Nonetheless, the Berkeley Historical Society has created a new CD of the bells of UC Berkeley.
