Rogers "disappointed" by NYC terror trial

LANSING, MI –
Michigan Congressman Mike Rogers says he's "clearly disappointed" over Friday's decision to try alleged 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Muhammad and four others in a New York City federal court. Rogers says the trial belongs in a military courtroom:

"The best, safest thing to do would have been having military tribunals AT Guantanamo Bay where they can secure the facility, secure the space, secure--quite frankly--the prisoners."

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder also announced today that four other detainees---held for the attack on the U.S.S. Cole in Yemen nine years ago---would face trial in a military commission at Guantanamo Bay. Some say government officials are locating the trials based on where they think they can win convictions.
