LANSING, MI –
City of Lansing Finance Director Jerry Ambrose says the city is facing a budget shortfall of about $15-million for the up coming fiscal year which starts July 1. Ambrose blames declines in property tax revenues and the increasing costs of providing city services for the gap. Ambrose says the city expects $103 million in revenue next year with expenses projected at $118 million.
