Mich. voters give Obama, Snyder poor job ratings

LANSING, MI –

Michigan voters polled say they don't like the jobs President Barack Obama and Gov. Rick Snyder are doing.

In a poll released Monday by EPIC-MRA, 38 percent gave the Democratic president a positive job rating and 61 percent a negative rating, with 1 percent undecided.

Thirty-five percent gave the Republican governor a positive job rating and 59 percent a negative rating, with 6 percent undecided.

Voters were evenly split in their opinions of the two men. For Obama, 46 percent had a favorable opinion and 47 percent an unfavorable opinion, with 7 percent undecided. Snyder's ratings were 43 percent favorable and 42 percent unfavorable, with 14 percent undecided.

The poll of 600 likely voters Oct. 1-4 had a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
