Event Description

Derek Webb, whose philosophical writing has ruffled spiritual and political feathers alike, performs his hit 2009 album, Stockholm Syndrome,' in its entirety! Abbey Hoffman, Lansing favorite, will also grace our stage! A 20+ year veteran of the music industry, Derek Webb has sold millions of albums as a founding member of Texas-based folk/rock band Caedmon’s Call, and ruffled political & spiritual feathers alike as a solo artist. He is also Co-Founder of the revolutionary tribe-building platform NoiseTrade, and founder of middleclassmusician.com, teaching musicians to make a living. Derek's most recent album Fingers Crossed is AVAILABLE NOW. For more conversation, visit The Airing Of Grief. His new album TARGETS is coming soon. https://www.derekwebb.com Abbey Hoffman is a New York City-raised, Lansing-based singer/songwriter. She covers a wide range of styles using primarily her voice and minimal acoustic guitar accompaniment to emphasize lyrics and delivery. She approaches songwriting and performance with an openness and vulnerability that makes it easy for an audience to relate. In November 2014 Abbey released her first studio album This Too Shall Pass, recorded live at Elm Street Recording. She has been performing around Lansing since 2012, in solo shows and as a part of The Lansing Unionized Vaudeville Spectacle. https://abbeyhoffman.bandcamp.com/
