Gone, but not forgotten. On today's episode of Current Sports with Al Martin, Al reflects on the life of Aretha Franklin and her impact on the state of Michigan. He is joined by former backup dancer of Franklin, Imani Dudley, to share some of her favorite memories with the icon. Dudley gives a behind the scenes look at Franklin while on tour.

Al is then joined by prep sports reporter of the Sun Times News, Seth Kinker, for segment two to discuss the situation at the University of Maryland  and the safety of high school athletes. We conclude with "Throwback Thursday."
