Help bring the best in television, radio, and online content and community engagement to the Capital Region and to the global MSU community! 

The WKAR Communications Team will be hiring 3 communication assistant interns.

Duties in these postions may include: 

  • Daily postings and monitoring at WKAR websites and social media sites 
  • Photography 
  • Researching, reporting and writing for online and print 
  • Writing promotional copy for radio and television broadcast
  • Graphic design and layout 
  • Representing WKAR at community events and more 

WKAR is a division of the College of Communication Arts & Sciences at Michigan State University. It includes WKAR-TV, WKAR AM and FM, WKAR.org, the Radio Reading Service, and WKAR Ready-To-Learn, and contributes to the educational experience of Michigan State University's 50,000-plus student body.
