Lansing area marks World Tai Chi Day

On the last Saturday of every April, people around the world celebrate World Tai Chi Day.The event, which started in 1999, celebrates the ancient Chinese martial art.

Michiganders will join in on the celebration this weekend. Bob Teachout is founder of Full Circle Tai Chi in Lansing. He also conducts workshops throughout State. He joined CurrentState in studio to share more about this Saturday’s event, and to explain the principles of Tai Chi. Lansing's World Tai Chi Day event takes place this Saturday at Patriarche Park, in East Lansing.
