Melorie Begay
Morning Edition Local Host and ProducerMelorie Begay is the local producer and host of Morning Edition, airing Monday through Friday from 5am to 9am on 90.5 FM.
She started at WKAR in April 2022 as the local host of Weekend Edition until March 2023.
Prior to coming to WKAR, Melorie was a multimedia journalist for KLCC in Eugene, Oregon.
She has a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of New Mexico where she interned at the local public radio station KUNM.
