On today's episode of Current Sports with Al Martin, Al leads the show by playing for you an NPR piece on cyclist Major Taylor, who author Michael Kranish describes as "America's first black sports hero."Listen as Al gives you his thoughts on Taylor's story and the strides Taylor's story made for other notable black athletes such as Jack Johnson and Joe Louis. In segment two, Al gives you his thoughts on Darius Slay showing up to training camp for the Detroit Lions despite saying that "everyone in the world knows" that he is underpaid. We conclude the show with our Fit Fridays segment with Blessed Body Training founder Johnny Lewis.
