Michigan State Basketball; Tom Izzo; Detroit Pistons; Stan Van Gundy; Blake Griffin; Noel King; Sister Jean Dolores-Schmidt; Eastern Michigan University

March Sadness continues for Michigan State fans as the criticism of Tom Izzo pours in from media outlets around the country. On this episode of "Current Sports with Al Martin," Al and engineer Ian Hawley try desperately to avoid talk of MSU basketball, but fail repeatedly as their emotions take hold of the conversation (Ian is still crying on the inside). The crew discusses whether Stan Van Gundy of the Detroit Pistons is on the hot-seat. Al rolls in an interview between NPR's Noel King and Sister Jean Dolores-Schmidt, the 98 year old nun from Loyola-Chicago who has made headlines for her support of the Golden Retrievers basketball team as they made their way to the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Tournament. Current Sports production assistant Jon Simon joins Al in the studio to wrap up the show with a discussion about Eastern Michigan University's decision to cut four sports programs. Tune in for a jam-packed hour of sports talk to get you through this Hump Day.
