Join Current State for a night of stories about the power of a lucky break at the Broad Art Museum on Thursday, March 24 from 6:00-7:30pm.

Have you ever taken a gamble and won?

Has good fortune (or great timing) helped you in remarkable ways?

On March 24 at 6 p.m., join Pop-Up Storiesat the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum for an evening of community storytelling.

Attend as an audience member, or prepare your five-minute story about a time when luck was on your side.

Current State host Mark Bashore will be hosting the event, and we'll have light refreshments and a great line-up of storytellers.

If want to sign up to tell your story or have questions about the project, please email Current State producer April Van Buren at avanburen@wkar.org.

Pop-Up Stories is a collaboration between Current State from WKAR, MSU's Residential College in the Arts and Humanities, and community partners.
