Q: As we head back to school, do you have any updates on library services?

From Mrs. Pizzo's Workshop

A: Yes! Our area libraries are working diligently to offer services -- while keeping everyone safe.

I reached out to my librarian friends and learned that, while browsing the shelves may not be available yet in many libraries, there are variety of ways that library staff can help find materials for you and your family.

Many library programs, services, and collections are available online, including virtual storytimes, Zoom book clubs, STEAM challenges, one-on-one help with library staff, and downloadable books, movies, music, and magazines.

Some libraries are also offering homework help and educational resources this fall to support students.

Here's a look at of some of what is available at these Greater Lansing libraries.
