The Jackson County Sheriff's Department is investigating a deadly fight that resulted in a teenager's death and two others injured. The suspect has not been arrested.

In a Facebook post, Sheriff Steve Rand said the fight happened at a field party in the 4000 block of Fishville Rd. in Grass Lake Township.

Deputies responded at 3:27 a.m. on Sunday.

The three victims were taken to Henry Ford Allegiance hospital in Jackson.

The department said an 18-year-old man from Jackson died at the hospital.

WKAR media partner WLNS-TV reports the death has been ruled a homicide.

Doctors treated two others for non-life threatening injuries.

The department did not report the weapons used to injure the victims, the motive behind the fight or if any arrests.
