Upgrades, Weather & Safety Mean Lower Power WKAR Signal

Workers (center of frame) on the WKAR TV and FM broadcast tower at a height of about 900 feet. The structure on the right is the lower portion of the FM main antenna. For crew safety, the main antennas are not in use when crew is on the tower. 5/11/18.

As you’ve probably noticed, our radio signal has been a lot harder to tune in recently. So we sought out some answers.
