(East Lansing, MI) – The Wharton Center for Performing Arts at Michigan State University has released its schedule for the coming season.

The highlight is the return of "Phantom of the Opera" next May and June.

The Broadway Series includes "White Christmas," "Young Frankenstein," "A Chorus Line" and "South Pacific."

WKAR's Scott Pohl spoke with Wharton Center executive director Michael Brand about the schedule. The economy is tough, and Brand had to work around a major reconstruction project.

Brand says producers have cooperated to lower ticket prices.
