New Lansing theater company explores ancient myths

Courtesy of Ixion Theatre Company

A Lansing theater veteran is starting up a new theater company. Jeff Croff was the founder of the former Icarus Falling Theatre Company. Tonight, he launches Ixion Theatre with the first of three staged readings of “The Four Disgracers."

Croff has asked four playwrights to write one-act plays inspired by ancient myths. One of the writers, Alex Freeman, joins Croff to discuss the new project.

Tonight’s reading of the plays is at 6:30 p.m. at the Capital Area District Library downtown Lansing branch on South Capitol Avenue.
