Michigan State University has confirmed that it dismissed three former football players for their violations of the school's Relationship Violence and Sexual Misconduct (RSVM) Policy.
The dismissals of Josh King, Donnie Corley and Demetric Vance came at the completion of Title IX investigations that MSU started shortly after an incident of an assault was reported. In response to a public records request, the university provided a document to the Lansing State Journal that shows the violation and sanction imposed against King, Corley and Vance.
In February, head coach Mark Dantonio dismissed the players from the team after they were arraigned on those charges.
The former players are also facing criminal charges in connection to a reported campus sexual assault from January. A hearing is set for September.
