Michigan officials are reporting 204 confirmed swine flu cases in the state.
Wednesday's figure is 29 more than reported on a state Web site one week earlier. The cases are spread among 31 of Michigan's 83 counties.
Federal officials have determined the swine flu virus is similar to seasonal flu and not as severe as initially feared.
