Lansing Symphony features Barber concerto, Schumann symphony

EAST LANSING, MI – Melissa Ingells talks to Lansing Symphony Orchestra conductor Timothy Muffitt about the MasterWorks 5 concert, "Reflections of Romanticism." It features the Violin Concerto by Samuel Barber, the "Rhenish" Symphony #3 by Schumann, and a suite of Ancient Airs and Dances by Respighi.

WKAR's Jody Knol will host the PreView talk for the concert, with guest violinist Giora Schmidt and LSO principal English Horn playler Gretchen Morse. That begins at 7:15pm in the Jackson National Lounge, followed by the concert at 8.
