DETROIT – Rain has forced the Detroit Tigers to postpone Monday night's game against the Chicago White Sox.
Freddy Garcia (2-2, 4.75 ERA) was scheduled to start for the White Sox against Detroit's Rick Porcello (3-3, 6.08).
No makeup date was announced, but it is expected that the game will be rescheduled as part of a doubleheader during Chicago's next visit to Detroit, which takes place Aug. 3-5.
