By AP

OAKLAND, CA – Miguel Cabrera and Magglio Ordonez each drove in a pair of runs, Jeremy Bonderman won for the first time in over a month and the Detroit Tigers defeated the Oakland A's 5-2 on Thursday to complete a two-game sweep.

Cabrera snapped an 0-for-12 streak with a single in the third, then added a two-run homer in the fifth. Ordonez singled home two runs in the third, and Ramon Santiazo had an RBI single in the fourth to help the Tigers win for the fourth time in five games.

Bonderman (2-2) gave up a run before he gave up a hit, walking the bases loaded in the third and then hitting Kurt Suzuki with a pitch. Bonderman ended up allowing three hits and four walks over six innings, striking out a season-high eight.

Tyson Ross (1-2) lasted four innings in his second start, allowing three runs on seven hits.
