DETROIT – Authorities say a 75-year-old man is dead and four other people are injured after a severe storm moved through an eastern Michigan campground.

Sheriff Tim Donnellon says a "massive" storm moved through the Fort Trodd Family Campground in St. Clair County's Clyde Township shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday.

Donnellon says James Anderson of Mount Clemens was killed. The sheriff says details of how Anderson died won't be released until after an autopsy is completed.

Four others were taken to area hospitals. St. Clair County Emergency Management director Jeff Friedland says their injuries are "not too serious."

Several trailers were overturned by strong winds and Donnellon says one was blown into a large pond on the campground. No one was in that trailer.
